Firstly put in the CD and this window will come up.

If your computer doesn't take a mini CD, put the CD in another computer and copy the files onto a USB memory stick.

Then insert the memory stick in the computer and click on the "AUTORUN.EXE" file (which show a small globe next to it)

If you are having trouble with your computer reading the CD, you can download the driver files here and email me for the link to the program file  ( maxi@maxihelp.com  ) :

Then click on the desktop icon:

Blaze will ask you to register. Because it does not talk to the internet, the name or email address you use are not important, however, you need to enter the two sets of code digits in the two boxes. It will not automatically jump to the second box, so you need to click on the second box before you enter the second group of digits.

If you enter the digits correctly you will see this:

If you are having trouble putting the digits in, or if it keeps saying the code is invalid, give me a call on 0413 244 999 or send me an email to maxi@maxihelp.com and I will help with a code.

Next plug in the USB stick and connect it to the best aerial you have available.

The little brass connector on the end of the small piece of cable goes into the back of the USB

The coax cable connector on the other end of the small cable goes into the aerial lead.

It will ask you if you want to scan for channels:

If you are in Australia you can leave the choice at the preset Australian Frequencies, otherwise choose the country where you are or "universal"

.

Even though the scan will take longer, it is a good idea to click on the box next to "Advanced Scan" in the bottom left of the Scan window.

It will scan for channels and provided the digital signal is strong enough, it will find any local channels. If it completes the scan and finds no channels, you need to use a better aerial for where you are.

You can now go ahead and use the program:
