The purpose of this site is to provide a place where my family, friends and customers can get help and advice about computers and the Internet. If you aren't already in one of these categories, please let me welcome you as a friend. For those of you who know me, you will be aware that I absolutely love playing with computers and discovering new things through the Internet. Over the years I have picked up some tricks of the trade that are worth passing on and that you might just find helpful; I certainly do not claim to know it all. In fact, the most experienced Guru's I have met in this business are the first to acknowledge that the more you know, the more you realise how much you don't know. It is exciting to be discovering new things everyday. The rate of growth in this "Information Revolution" is literally exploding in every direction at an ever increasing speed. In some ways things seem to be getting more complicated. For many of us, some fears need to be cleared away as we realise the truth. For example, you can protect yourself against viruses. The Internet is the most powerful informational tool ever available. As you learn to use it to add value to your life, and others, you will find it is also a wonderful opportunity. Almost everyday, I meet people who have paid way too much for parts, software and service. So I will be continually adding to this site so you can get a decent price when you are buying hardware and software. I'll also throw in what education I find to help you do as much as possible for yourself. | This is the obvious one and people spend untold hours finding the best hardware deal. As with most spending sprees, this requires some understanding about what you are buying. |

| The not so obvious element; and for some strange reason people who have struggled to save $10 on hardware, start throwing $100's around on expensive software without comparing prices of other versions. Free software is so often available for home users that its a pity more people dont know about it. |
